Agentic AI Platform Overview
The Agentic AI Platform is an open and extensible agentic services platform that empowers teams at Trimble (across AECO & FS), our developer ecosystem participants, and our customers to design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain AI Agents and multi-agent workflows.
The platform provides the common agentic AI infrastructure so that Trimble business areas and product teams can focus less on the underlying plumbing and more on applying the technology to solve real-world problems for customers.
Platform Architecture
Section titled “Platform Architecture”The Agentic AI Platform has an architecture that addresses the distinct needs of agent prototyping and validation versus customer-facing production agent development and deployment. This approach recognizes that the requirements for authoring and debugging agents differ fundamentally from serving them at scale.
n8n (for prototyping and internal agents)
Section titled “n8n (for prototyping and internal agents)”n8n is a no-code, graphical workflow automation tool for internal automations and/or rapid prototyping of AI agent concepts. This easy-to-use environment facilitates the iterative development, debugging and validation cycles common in the early agent proof-of-concept phase. It is not appropriate for customer-facing production agents.
