FileCleanUp Processor for S3 Bundle Management

Section titled “FileCleanUp Processor for S3 Bundle Management”

We’ve introduced a new processor, FileCleanUp, designed to automatically delete previous bundles from S3. This process leverages file transaction references and is triggered by the bundler when auto-bundling is enabled during application registration or package revision updates.

Auto-Enable/Disable Bundle Update Support in SDKs

Section titled “Auto-Enable/Disable Bundle Update Support in SDKs”

Our GO, .NET, and CLI SDKs have been enhanced to support auto-enable/disable functionality for bundle updates. This feature allows you to configure bundle update behavior directly during application registration, offering greater control.

We’ve implemented support within Appliance, Extension, and Embedded components to capture and report the source and version during appliance registration. This improves traceability and helps you keep track of your deployments.

TAM Command and Control has been enhanced to allow downloading policy files based on package namespace. This feature is scoped to teams with appropriate access, ensuring secure and controlled downloads. Additionally, the Console UI now provides a convenient option to download the policy file directly from the package list view.

For clearer terminology aligned with API behavior, we’ve renamed the retire command to delete in both the TAM CLI and .NET SDK.

Reliable Package Revision Management in Bundles

Section titled “Reliable Package Revision Management in Bundles”

We’ve updated the Application Controller and Bundler Worker to ensure that the correct package revisions are captured and stored as bundle metadata during bundle creation. This enhancement guarantees:

  • Accurate bundling of the appropriate package revisions during application or package updates.
  • Consistent and reliable rendering of the bundle revision list in the UI, aligning with the actual package revisions used.

This update significantly improves traceability and accuracy in the bundling process across the platform.

Package Registration Metadata Reporting in GO SDK

Section titled “Package Registration Metadata Reporting in GO SDK”

The TAM GO SDK now includes the ability to report source and version details during package and application registration. This provides improved traceability for your registered components.

Configurable Log Levels for Appliance Components

Section titled “Configurable Log Levels for Appliance Components”

We’ve added support for configurable log levels in the Appliance, Extension, and Embedded components. This gives you fine-grained control over logging verbosity, which is invaluable for debugging and monitoring.

We’ve made several enhancements to the Console UI for a better user experience:

  • Displays auto-bundle status for each package, giving you quick insights.
  • Shows the correct status of unresponsive appliances, providing more accurate information.
  • Displays the package owner’s name in the package management view, improving visibility and accountability.
