Release date: 28 August 2025

Enhance rescheduling of Engine: The Decider now handles cases where the Engine container fails to write a Results JSON file by rescheduling the Operation Execution, treating it as a heartbeat failure.

EKS AMI Update: The EKS Windows node AMIs now include the unpigz utility, and the Linux EKS Nodepool CPU limits have been increased to improve performance.

Delegated Auth: The Deployment model has been updated to include delegate_identity and target_identities properties, enhancing the flexibility and security of delegated authorization. A new emptyDir volume has been defined on the Pod to store access tokens for delegated authorization, ensuring secure and efficient token management. The Orchestrator now provides access tokens to the Engine, facilitating seamless integration and operation within the delegated authorization framework. The use of Delegated Auth is not supported with this release.

API V84: Increased the configured memory limit for deployment.computing.memory by adding separate configuration validation for Azure and AWS regions.

Window K8s Orchestrator: Revert build on Windows K8s Orchestrator to go back to Server Core instead of Nano.

Enable Datadog Logging: Datadog logging has been enabled for image-based lambdas and ECS Fargate cluster improving monitoring and diagnostics.

POSPac Engine: Applanix provided an image update.

FME 2021 Engine: Coordinate System Plugin Update to support TerraFlex/MapViewer provided by Field Systems team that maintains the custom plugin. This change improves geospatial Operations.

Deployment Update: Resolved an issue where updating a Deployment without the computing property failed due to a memory constraint validation. The API now ensures the correctly formatted computing property is provided if not included in an update request. Long Path Issue in EKS Resolved: The Orchestrator now successfully downloads files with long path names by using Pathlib instead of os.path, resolving previous failures. Log & Data Export Engine Scaling Policy Update: The scaling policy for the Log & Data Export Engine has been updated to address long-running data export executions. This change is implemented through CloudFormation.
