Section titled “Enhancements”Deployment Update Backend Timeout Resolved: Fixed the timeout issue when updating a Deployment’s backend resources by ensuring the system update endpoint checks for changes in Deployment regions and initiates a background task if necessary. (Tag, V81)
ECR Terraform Refactor for Enhanced Compliance and Consistency: ECR replication and permissions are now defined at the registry level instead of the repository level, ensuring tag immutability for NIST compliance.
CloudWatch Log Retention Period Added: CloudWatch log groups have been imported to processing-services-iac, and a log retention period has been added.
ECR Tag Immutability Applied: A Python script has been used to enable tag immutability on all ECR repositories, ensuring that tags cannot be overwritten.
Bastion Host Deployed Using Terraform: The Bastion Host, previously managed manually, is now deployed in Stage and Production using Terraform. This change ensures easier management and updates via IaC.
