Section titled “Enhancements:”Karpenter version upgrade in AWS EKS: Karpenter is now running version 1.3.3.
Custom Scheduler improvements: Preemption has been removed from the Scheduler to reduce the number of API calls made to the Kubernetes API. The priority configuration has been increased to match that of the built-in Default Scheduler. Additionally, logs are now being forwarded to Datadog for better observability. These changes aim to enhance the efficiency and performance of scheduling operations within Kubernetes.
Bug fix:
Section titled “Bug fix:”Corrected Environment Variable Setting for Windows Fluent Bit Sidecars: The Prognosticator now correctly sets the
FB_START_INTERLOCK environment variable on Windows Fluent Bit sidecars, preventing unnecessary delays and ensuring
efficient log collection.
