New Features

  • Operation Status Events Emitter: Deployed multiple components into the Processing Framework to support the Operation Status Events Emitter functionality. This includes updates in the API and other components that support this release. Operation Status Events follow an opt-in methodology, automatically including consumers of Procedure Execution Events.
  • Safe-branded FME Deployment: Introduced a new Safe-branded FME Deployment, utilizing a new license for improved operations and compliance.
Enhancements

  • Improved Startup Timeouts Handling: Implemented a solution where the k8sorchestrator will terminate a pod if the split-engine startup wait times out, preventing pods from remaining in an ImagePullBackOff state due to non-existent split-engine images. This enhancement ensures more efficient resource utilization and system reliability.
  • Disaster Recovery Definition for API: Implemented a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for the API, ensuring high availability and resilience in the face of potential disruptions.
  • Improved Deployment Schema Validation Error Messages: Updated the validation error messages for Deployment schema to provide clearer and more informative feedback, enhancing the user experience during configuration and troubleshooting.
Infrastructure and Monitoring

  • Datadog Unified Tags Implementation: Added Datadog Unified Tags to Fargate Container Environment Variables across various services, aligning with best practices for containerized environment monitoring and logging.
  • Cloudwatch Metrics Integration for Enhanced Monitoring: Added Cloudwatch Metrics to Datadog for Task Lists and Monitoring. This integration facilitates better monitoring and management of system performance and health.
  • Robust Deployment with Updated Jenkinsfile: Updated the Jenkinsfile to support more robust deployment strategies, including the ability to deploy from a tag parameter or branch, providing greater flexibility and control over deployment processes.
Bug Fixes
Section titled “Bug Fixes”
  • Validation Issues in Windows Engines Resolved: Addressed a problem where setting values in the Prognosticator deployments files to empty strings caused validation issues in Windows Engines, ensuring smoother Operations and Deployments.
