Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”
  • ACL updates are now permitted on checked-out files, folders, and objects. Previously, checking out a resource blocked any permission updates.
Objects

  • contentId is now optional in the POST /spaces/{spaceId}/objects request body, improving API flexibility and forward compatibility.
Identifiers
Section titled “Identifiers”
  • File Service now accepts Connect-provided custom IDs as the primary identifier for files, folders, and objects, removing the need for UUID translation in Connect integrations.
Security
Section titled “Security”
  • Permanent, unauthenticated download URLs are now disabled. All URL-based access requires authentication and an expiration, aligning with FedRAMP authorization requirements.

Infrastructure

Section titled “Infrastructure”
  • Enabled CloudFront Origin Shield for Azure-origin and AWS S3-origin distributions across staging and production, improving cache hit ratio and reducing origin latency.
  • Fixed metrics data routing to ensure telemetry from all environments is correctly directed to the production DataOps destination.
  • Introduced feature gating controls for facade API registration, migration service wiring, and Azure provider selection in space creation flows.
