Section titled “Storage Statistics”Overview: File service statistics are used to measure the sizes and modification time of children. These statistics are applicable to space, folder, and file resources and are done asynchronously.
- Implemented comprehensive storage statistics.
- Launched infrastructure for storage statistics service.
- Data migration of statistics for existing resources.
Other Enhancements
Section titled “Other Enhancements”Enhanced file expiry handling and set TTL on file expiry. Adjusted max page limit for List Files, Folders and Children APIs from 100 to 1000. Managed hard deletion of expired files. Improved handling of restore requests in the order of soft-deleted files/folder.
Statistics population for existing resources
Section titled “Statistics population for existing resources”The statistics for existing file service resources at the space level will be calculated on any mutation operations.
- Until then,
statswill be set to 0 for spaces, files and folders. - For new resources in existing spaces,
statswill be updated once the migration has been completed. - This is only for staging environment, for production, all the stats will be calculated and updated.
