Features

  • Enhanced Provider Workflow: We’ve introduced a streamlined workflow for API and Product creation within the Console to improve the user experience. This update includes a more intuitive interface and adds support for API versioning, allowing providers to easily manage multiple versions of their APIs and Products.

    • API Configuration Tab Reordered: The API Configuration tab is now the second tab, making it easier to find.
    • Basepath Moved to Application Level: Basepath information has been moved from the API level to the application level to simplify the workflow.
    • Products Menu Enhancements: You can now use the “Existing Products” menu to publish products.
    • Authorization Workflows: We’ve implemented new authorization workflows for both APIs and Products directly within the Console.
    • API Management: You can now manage your APIs directly from the Product summary page

Bugs

###General Fixes

  • Endpoint Mismatch: Corrected a bug where endpoints were mismatched after flattening, ensuring consistent URLs.
  • Throttling Configuration: Fixed multiple issues in the Throttling Configuration section, including button visibility and error handling.
  • “Field is Required” Message: Corrected an incorrect error message that appeared in the no-auth configuration.
  • Post-Creation Redirection: Fixed issues with redirection after creating new applications or API applications, ensuring you are taken to the correct summary page.
  • Consent Tab Visibility: The Consent tab is now correctly restricted to external account teams only.

###UI Improvements:

  • Added a missing border to the “Delete” option for secrets.
  • Aligned consent message limits between the UI and backend.

###Product-Specific Fixes

  • Access Control: Users can no longer edit products that do not belong to their team.
  • Error Messages: The error message for exceeding the product creation limit is now accurate.

###UI & Functionality:

  • The missing visibility banner has been added to product pages.
  • Product and API version specifications are no longer blocked and are visible to users.
  • API products are now read-only when accessed from the old API Products menu.
  • The Console no longer becomes unresponsive after updating a product.
  • The “Delete Product” option is now enabled when conditions are met.
  • Button states and error handling have been improved during product creation and updates.
